We stumbled upon this place after seeing a road sign advertising it had specialty burgers. We simply did not want fast food and hoped to experience something local. What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was excellent. Not quite a sports bar, but comfortable enough for me to put my elbows on the table without fear of repercussion. The wait staff was super friendly. My burger was delicious. It tasted not like a restaurant burger, but instead how I would hope the perfect backyard grill burger would taste. Juicy, flavorful, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The onion straws were a nice touch! The highlight, however, were the Cheese Bombs. (Insert expletive here). Breaded white cheddar deep fried and served with dipping sauce? Uh, yes! We'll be back even if it means driving hours out of our way to do so.

Stopped here on the way to New Orleans and it was a great stop. They were pretty packed but we still got sat right away (party of 6). Our server, Wendy, was great and provided awesome customer service. We tried 2 appetizers - cheese bombs & chips & queso. Both were okay, nothing special but good. For food we got: brisket sandwhich, spicy chicken Hawaiian sandwhich, chicken tenders basket, a chicken salad, and a build your own burger. For sides we got fries, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, & tumbleweed onions (onion strings). The food was good and plentiful. The potatoes were probably the hit but everyone ate majority of their food. Atmosphere is very loud and fun so we had a good time. Place is clean and we had amazing service.

The burgers... The burgers... Go. This place is worth the trip if for nothing else but the burgers. Sure they have a great selection of draft beer, and yeah they've got great appetizers better than most places. And yes they also have delicious looking sandwiches as well as salads and other fare. But, the burgers... An Angus patty cooked to perfection, smokey bacon and melty cheese and the freshest of toppings and I'm full but I'm already planning my next one!

Mom and I came here because of the great reviews on Yelp. We needed something quick and yummy before seeing Wanda Sykes at the IP Casino. We opted for the Woody's Cheese Bombs and the Couch Potato hamburger. I am so glad that I read the reviews and got the Cheese Bombs --- because they were the bomb! They taste like a combination of Wisconsin cheese curds and mozzarella sticks. As always, our tummys are smaller than our eyes so we decided that the wise thing to do was to split the Couch Potato hamburger with some Tumbleweed onions. The hamburger was delicious, while the fried onions were okay. I don't know if it was just that there were so many to eat or if I wasn't that into them, but I wish I would have opted for Mac & Cheese or French Fries. If you are a local, or you are on a road trip looking for something to eat, I highly suggest stopping in here!

One of my favorite places to eat at in ocean springs. We come here often, the food is consistent. However, my recommendation to the owners is the remove the wall in the new section. I sat in this new area tonight. There was a disconnect from the "sports bar" atmosphere, it was extremely loud, and the wait staff could barely maneuver within the poor table setup. Maybe use this for private parties only. I will never sit here ever again. Nor do I recommend anyone sit there. But as always we had a great time with friends.

We ate here around 5pm on a Saturday. Was a steady crowd but not overly loud. We were sat promptly and in very comfortable area of the restaurant. The server (Samantha) was very quick to attend to us. We ordered the cheese curds, they were delicious! For our meal we ordered the Baja fish tacos and the Big Bend Burger. All were cooked great. All and all we will be returning. Food and atmosphere was a good change from any chains in the area.

For the ones who like this bbq, please visit other locations in other part of the State. It had a smoke favor and it was still tasteless; plus had to fight flies at the same time. Very nice bar & grill. Stopped in for a late lunch. There was only one customer there at the time. I figured since the lunch crowd was over and rush hour hadn't yet arrived was probably why the lull in business. The burgers come highly recommended, but I decided to try some of the BBQ instead. The menu isn't too busy, consisting of appetizers, Burgers, BBQ, salads and some sandwiches. All of the descriptions are very inviting. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The portion was gi-normous! Six large sliced fried tomatoes came out perfectly batter fried. I new instantly there was no way my wife and I would be able to eat the entire appetizer and still have room for the entree. This was my first attempt at fried green tomatoes, never had them before. The batter was very crispy yet not greasy at all. The disappointment came with the first bite however. Absolutely no seasoning. If the tomato or even the batter had some salt and pepper - these babies would have been on point. My wife also ordered an appetizer; the cheese bombs which were recommended as a customer favorite. Again the portion was gi-normous! I think there were 12 giant cubes of mozzarella/cheese curds. Again perfectly batter fried, no greasy. However if you're a fried cheese stick fan - this is cheese heaven. They were absolutely delicious. We immediately asked for to-go boxes even before the entrees arrived. I ordered the brisket sandwich, my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Bot were delicious and tender with just the right hint of smoke flavor. Not overpowering at all like so many BBQ establishments do. I wish I had time to revisit and try the burgers. Maybe my next visit to Mississippi will be more accommodating. The place is really clean, has a nice full service bar and multiple flat screens throughout. A great place to watch Sunday football and get some great food.. .

Ok. I travel for a living. I travel all of North, Central and South America. I am a pescetarian, which means I eat fish and no other meat, so I look for places that have dishes I can eat. My favorite dish is fish tacos. I order them every place I go and it is one of the factors in how I judge restaurants. I am so lucky that where I live, Ocean Springs, MS., has one of the top three fish tacos I have ever had. They may be the best, but for sure top three. Considering where I go for my job this is amazing, I spend time all over the islands, the west coast of the U.S., etc., and I continually come back to this restaurant in my home town. Beau is a bartender and he is very nice and quick with a beer, which is key! If you are in the area come on by and check this place out. Also their nachos are pretty good as well.

Driving back from the beach checked Yelp and found Woodys. Place was crowded at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon. Good sign. Got Seated and was waited on by Blake. Great waiter! Took care me and 4 women changing their minds every 2 seconds. Food was a little slow coming but no biggie. Wife said steak tacos were 5 out of 5. Oh my gosh....it is so loud in this place, had to cover my ears! I've eaten here twice, both times it was so loud I left with a headache. Service is slow, waitress spilled the "au jus" all over my sandwich soaking the bread to the point you couldn't pick it up to eat, with no apology. Lastly, they only allowed a Military discount for the Military member's Entree, not including his family LIKE ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS TYPICALLY OFFER. Most people don't realize that the majority of our Military families earn so little they qualify for food stamps. On the good side I do have to say their cheese bombs are the best I've ever eaten!

Found Woody's while vacationing in Ocean Spring's. I have a child with food allergies to peanuts and tree nuts and they were more than willing and able to accommodate us. Our waitress even had the same allergies! That right there would be enough for me to give them 5 stars but the food and service certainly earn high ratings on their own. From the manager that I contacted before our trip to the servers and bartenders, they have top rate service. We ended up eating here 4 times on our week long stay, there were a few other restaurants that were allergy friendly that we could have tried but the food was so good our group of 6 was excited to go back every time. Thanks for the great service Woody's we're all looking forward to another trip to Ocean Springs because of you!

Good bar food options, friendly and entertaining service. I met a couple of friends at the bar to eat and catch up one evening; the burgers were tempting but I tried the grilled chicken salad, which was relatively healthy and plenty tasty. My dinner companions weren't having my midlife calorie crisis and had the burger options I wanted -- and they looked pretty contented. The waitstaff and bartender were very friendly and conversational. The perfect venue whether you're eating alone or planning a relaxed dinner and rambling conversation with friends.

If you're into that sort of thing, this is your place. If not, steer clear! Fried Cheese Bombs: 5/5 hmmm delicious artery clogging goodness. Wings: 2/5 they weren't horrible, just not very spicy and the blue cheese that came with them wasn't very good. Honky Tonk burger: 5/5 My girl had this, but she couldn't finish so I helped her. It was very good! It's a lot of burger though, so bring your appetite. The French fries were also very good and not too salty.

Not what you would expect from a 'roadside'. Besides the amazing burgers they have a great variety of seafood and other southern comfort foods. We started with the fried green tomatoes appetizer. I then had the seared tuna sandwich and it was amazing. My wife had the Woody's burger. Neither of us could finish our entire meal...very generous portions.

Third visit. And last visit. And the food is Meh with a shrug at best. I have tried multiple items and they all seemed to be made by a cook collecting a paycheck and not doing it because they enjoy cooking. The burgers meat is plain. The fish tacos taste OK but are overwhelmed by mayo. The Mac n cheese side dish is gooey but taste pasty. The blackened fish, can't remember what it was it was so bland, had less flavor than a Utah guy dancing. My dining companions each time walked away saying they didn't care if they never went back again. The wait staff has always been great.

Take-out order: I was impressed that the inside is so nice, when the outside seems so dark and uninviting. This is a really nice, clean place! The cheese bombs are awesome, and I could eat their tumbleweed onions all day, but my brisket was so bad that I tossed it out and picked up a burger from Sonic. My guy ordered a burger with brisket and said the brisket was the only good part of the burger. Maybe we just had an off night for meat. I'm sure we'll try this place out again in the future.

First time I have eaten here and hopefully will not be my last. I went after the lunch rush, so things were fairly quiet. Server was very polite and extremely helpful with decision making. I had the couch potato burger with blue cheese crumbles and applewood smoked bacon with the in-house fresh made fries. I paid 13 and some change for the meal and sweet tea. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal at a good price.

I was looking through yelp on my phone for somewhere new to eat. Saw this place come up in the list and I read the reviews. I am game to try so we head in. You set where you want the waitress will come to the table. I was torn with all the good looking items on the menu. I settled for a Honky Tonk Burger. It was the best burger I have had in a long time. For appetizer we got the cheese bombs. These are the bomb. I was expecting the usual cheese sticks. Nope these are squares of cheese fried in a good batter. The girlfriend got the Nachos with the pulled pork. They were good as well. The place does have an echo and I don't think I would be able to stay if the band was playing. They advertise the coldest beer on the coast but they do not have the local favorites: Lazy Magnolia products so I had to drop on star from my rating. A local bar should have local beers.

I am just reviewing the restaurant part, not the bar. We pass this place so many times. I thought it was just a small bar off of the main road so I never went in. I so glad I did. I took the family and although they do have a bar it was family friendly and clean. The server that we had was friendly and attentive. He was like a ninja, filling our drinks before we even knew we were almost out and we didn't even realize he had already given us refills! The food was amazing with a wide range of options. Tacos, BBQ, or a good old fashioned burger. We had the shrimp basket, the burger topped with brisket and the brisket basket. The portions are very generous and we had to carry away. I will absolutely go back. I may even stop in for drinks after work!

Went to Woody's with my family while they were in town visiting the cheese bombs were amazing. We all got burgers. I built my own burger and had macaroni and cheese for a side. The burger was delicious and the macaroni and cheese was really creamy and flavorful! The service we received was pretty good. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive, but overall. We weren't disappointed. I went back 2 days later to bring my husband since the food was so good. I was seriously disappointed in our dinner. We split the fried pickles which were on the saltier side, but good. I got the brisket and macaroni and cheese. My husband got a burger and tumbleweed onions. The brisket was gross and I ended up not eating most of it. The macaroni which I loved two days earlier was dry and clumpy and tasted completely different this time. My husbands burger was dry and flavorless. The service was much better this time though. Overall I'm disappointed because this restaurant was so inconsistent. Had the food been as good the second time I would have given them 5 stars instead of 3.

After hearing about this place 5,309 times from other people, we had to go. So we went. Atmosphere was fun and loud. Our server, I think his name was Andrew, was awesome. We did the cheese bombs. They were simple but good, if you are into cheese. And who isn't? As an American, you kinda have to be. Or get deported. Anyways...we got the Woody's burger and the Big Ben (I think...it was the one with pulled pork on top of the burger...que fat kid squeal here) and they were just okay, honestly. The pulled pork was kinda bland. Not really sure if we will go back, as OS is kind of a drive for us, but we had to try it, and we did.

This is a re-rate from last year's experience. It's still an excellent restaurant to go to in the Springs. I loved the decor in the restaurant, and the atmosphere is quite fantastic. I love how my Roadside Burger was tempting and something to have again the next trip. My mom's Barbecue Three-Way tasted great. The server was very elaborate and friendly. I would recommend this barbecue venue in the Springs, whether you are dining alone, with your friends or family members, or for special occasions! Great job, Woodys!

I have been here twice. Both times I got two different burgers. The first was the California Burger and the second was the Get Me to the Greek Burger. Both were very good and I'd go back to try more. They have beer on tap that is chilled to 32 degrees. This is a turnoff for me as I like to taste my beer and most styles of beer are not meant to be that cold. Both times, the service was friendly and adequate. Solid 4 star place.

I wanted a salad and my kids wanted burgers. Yelp led us to Woody's. I had the Greek salad with grilled shrimp. Shrimp was overcooked and added nothing to the great salad. Greens were fresh and crunchy. I recommend asking for the dressing on the side...the chef was overly generous in the pouring. We had four different burgers ordered. None came as requested cookwise (ie. Medium or medium rare), but none of the kids complained, as all burgers were still juicy. We also ordered wings (hot w/blue cheese) and they were fine. One was undercooked (yuck). The tumbleweed onions were good. Slightly greasy. I dipped them in the leftover wing sauce and that was pretty tasty! The portions are generous, the food is good. The place is noisy (lots of hard surfaces lead to reverb noise). I can't imagine how it would be if someone was playing music on the stage at this place - but I imagine that happens, since it is there! Servers are friendly, but service is not a highlight (they spent more time chatting by the window into the kitchen than keeping our water glasses full). Overall, a nice, friendly place for a meal.

Tried this place for the second time...same results. Service good, atmosphere a bit noisy (but it is a bar!) but food is just.....ok. Ahi Tuna sandwich really had no flavor and tuna, ordered medium, was undercooked. Fish and chips had small fish chunks with a bland batter coating. Fried Green tomatoes had too much of a thick batter crust. Beer was cold though and tea was sweet. Won't chance it again.

Burgers are good. I especially like the tumbleweed onions on the and the chargrilled taste. I haven't tried their bbq items yet. Decent happy hour specials. My only issue is that no matter what it just seems like I can hear everyone's conversation at one time no matter where I sit at the bar. I can't tell if they are just loud talkers or trying to talk over the music or if it is the acoustics. The bartender is always friendly and quick to take my drink and food order. I've never been on a crowded night, so I can give no opinion there. I don't care for live bands so I tend to avoid nights when anyone takes the stage. When I drive by on game days, the place seems packed out. Good for them. I'll be back, on occassion.

We stumbled upon this place after seeing a road sign advertising it had specialty burgers. We simply did not want fast food and hoped to experience something local. What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was excellent. Not quite a sports bar, but comfortable enough for me to put my elbows on the table without fear of repercussion. The wait staff was super friendly. My burger was delicious. It tasted not like a restaurant burger, but instead how I would hope the perfect backyard grill burger would taste. Juicy, flavorful, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The onion straws were a nice touch! The highlight, however, were the Cheese Bombs. (Insert expletive here). Breaded white cheddar deep fried and served with dipping sauce? Uh, yes! We'll be back even if it means driving hours out of our way to do so.

Stopped here on the way to New Orleans and it was a great stop. They were pretty packed but we still got sat right away (party of 6). Our server, Wendy, was great and provided awesome customer service. We tried 2 appetizers - cheese bombs & chips & queso. Both were okay, nothing special but good. For food we got: brisket sandwhich, spicy chicken Hawaiian sandwhich, chicken tenders basket, a chicken salad, and a build your own burger. For sides we got fries, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, & tumbleweed onions (onion strings). The food was good and plentiful. The potatoes were probably the hit but everyone ate majority of their food. Atmosphere is very loud and fun so we had a good time. Place is clean and we had amazing service.

The burgers... The burgers... Go. This place is worth the trip if for nothing else but the burgers. Sure they have a great selection of draft beer, and yeah they've got great appetizers better than most places. And yes they also have delicious looking sandwiches as well as salads and other fare. But, the burgers... An Angus patty cooked to perfection, smokey bacon and melty cheese and the freshest of toppings and I'm full but I'm already planning my next one!

Mom and I came here because of the great reviews on Yelp. We needed something quick and yummy before seeing Wanda Sykes at the IP Casino. We opted for the Woody's Cheese Bombs and the Couch Potato hamburger. I am so glad that I read the reviews and got the Cheese Bombs --- because they were the bomb! They taste like a combination of Wisconsin cheese curds and mozzarella sticks. As always, our tummys are smaller than our eyes so we decided that the wise thing to do was to split the Couch Potato hamburger with some Tumbleweed onions. The hamburger was delicious, while the fried onions were okay. I don't know if it was just that there were so many to eat or if I wasn't that into them, but I wish I would have opted for Mac & Cheese or French Fries. If you are a local, or you are on a road trip looking for something to eat, I highly suggest stopping in here!

One of my favorite places to eat at in ocean springs. We come here often, the food is consistent. However, my recommendation to the owners is the remove the wall in the new section. I sat in this new area tonight. There was a disconnect from the "sports bar" atmosphere, it was extremely loud, and the wait staff could barely maneuver within the poor table setup. Maybe use this for private parties only. I will never sit here ever again. Nor do I recommend anyone sit there. But as always we had a great time with friends.

We ate here around 5pm on a Saturday. Was a steady crowd but not overly loud. We were sat promptly and in very comfortable area of the restaurant. The server (Samantha) was very quick to attend to us. We ordered the cheese curds, they were delicious! For our meal we ordered the Baja fish tacos and the Big Bend Burger. All were cooked great. All and all we will be returning. Food and atmosphere was a good change from any chains in the area.

Service was good! I read the reviews before meeting friends so I got excited. I ordered bbq and I must say it was the "Worst" I every had. For the ones who like this bbq, please visit other locations in other part of the State. It had a smoke favor and it was still tasteless; plus had to fight flies at the same time. Very nice bar & grill. Stopped in for a late lunch. There was only one customer there at the time. I figured since the lunch crowd was over and rush hour hadn't yet arrived was probably why the lull in business. The burgers come highly recommended, but I decided to try some of the BBQ instead. The menu isn't too busy, consisting of appetizers, Burgers, BBQ, salads and some sandwiches. All of the descriptions are very inviting. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The portion was gi-normous! Six large sliced fried tomatoes came out perfectly batter fried. I new instantly there was no way my wife and I would be able to eat the entire appetizer and still have room for the entree. This was my first attempt at fried green tomatoes, never had them before. The batter was very crispy yet not greasy at all. The disappointment came with the first bite however. Absolutely no seasoning. If the tomato or even the batter had some salt and pepper - these babies would have been on point. My wife also ordered an appetizer; the cheese bombs which were recommended as a customer favorite. Again the portion was gi-normous! I think there were 12 giant cubes of mozzarella/cheese curds. Again perfectly batter fried, no greasy. However if you're a fried cheese stick fan - this is cheese heaven. They were absolutely delicious. We immediately asked for to-go boxes even before the entrees arrived. I ordered the brisket sandwich, my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Bot were delicious and tender with just the right hint of smoke flavor. Not overpowering at all like so many BBQ establishments do. I wish I had time to revisit and try the burgers. Maybe my next visit to Mississippi will be more accommodating. The place is really clean, has a nice full service bar and multiple flat screens throughout. A great place to watch Sunday football and get some great food.. .

Ok. I travel for a living. I travel all of North, Central and South America. I am a pescetarian, which means I eat fish and no other meat, so I look for places that have dishes I can eat. My favorite dish is fish tacos. I order them every place I go and it is one of the factors in how I judge restaurants. I am so lucky that where I live, Ocean Springs, MS., has one of the top three fish tacos I have ever had. They may be the best, but for sure top three. Considering where I go for my job this is amazing, I spend time all over the islands, the west coast of the U.S., etc., and I continually come back to this restaurant in my home town. Beau is a bartender and he is very nice and quick with a beer, which is key! If you are in the area come on by and check this place out. Also their nachos are pretty good as well.

Driving back from the beach checked Yelp and found Woodys. Place was crowded at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon. Good sign. Got Seated and was waited on by Blake. Great waiter! Took care me and 4 women changing their minds every 2 seconds. Food was a little slow coming but no biggie. Wife said steak tacos were 5 out of 5. I got the Cajun burger which was the special and was really good. Fried green tomato and mixed beef and Tasso as the burger. Very good. Will be back for sure.

Oh my gosh....it is so loud in this place, had to cover my ears! I've eaten here twice, both times it was so loud I left with a headache. Service is slow, waitress spilled the "au jus" all over my sandwich soaking the bread to the point you couldn't pick it up to eat, with no apology. Lastly, they only allowed a Military discount for the Military member's Entree, not including his family LIKE ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS TYPICALLY OFFER. Most people don't realize that the majority of our Military families earn so little they qualify for food stamps. On the good side I do have to say their cheese bombs are the best I've ever eaten!

Found Woody's while vacationing in Ocean Spring's. I have a child with food allergies to peanuts and tree nuts and they were more than willing and able to accommodate us. Our waitress even had the same allergies! That right there would be enough for me to give them 5 stars but the food and service certainly earn high ratings on their own. From the manager that I contacted before our trip to the servers and bartenders, they have top rate service. We ended up eating here 4 times on our week long stay, there were a few other restaurants that were allergy friendly that we could have tried but the food was so good our group of 6 was excited to go back every time. Thanks for the great service Woody's we're all looking forward to another trip to Ocean Springs because of you!

Good bar food options, friendly and entertaining service. I met a couple of friends at the bar to eat and catch up one evening; the burgers were tempting but I tried the grilled chicken salad, which was relatively healthy and plenty tasty. My dinner companions weren't having my midlife calorie crisis and had the burger options I wanted -- and they looked pretty contented. The waitstaff and bartender were very friendly and conversational. The perfect venue whether you're eating alone or planning a relaxed dinner and rambling conversation with friends.

Went there for dinner last night. The atmosphere was pretty intense due to multiple football games on the televisions overhead. I could barely hear myself speak. If you're into that sort of thing, this is your place. If not, steer clear! Fried Cheese Bombs: 5/5 hmmm delicious artery clogging goodness. Wings: 2/5 they weren't horrible, just not very spicy and the blue cheese that came with them wasn't very good. Honky Tonk burger: 5/5 My girl had this, but she couldn't finish so I helped her. It was very good! It's a lot of burger though, so bring your appetite. The French fries were also very good and not too salty.

Not what you would expect from a 'roadside'. Besides the amazing burgers they have a great variety of seafood and other southern comfort foods. We started with the fried green tomatoes appetizer. I then had the seared tuna sandwich and it was amazing. My wife had the Woody's burger. Neither of us could finish our entire meal...very generous portions.

Third visit. And last visit. And the food is Meh with a shrug at best. I have tried multiple items and they all seemed to be made by a cook collecting a paycheck and not doing it because they enjoy cooking. The burgers meat is plain. The fish tacos taste OK but are overwhelmed by mayo. The Mac n cheese side dish is gooey but taste pasty. The blackened fish, can't remember what it was it was so bland, had less flavor than a Utah guy dancing. My dining companions each time walked away saying they didn't care if they never went back again. The wait staff has always been great.

Take-out order: I was impressed that the inside is so nice, when the outside seems so dark and uninviting. This is a really nice, clean place! The cheese bombs are awesome, and I could eat their tumbleweed onions all day, but my brisket was so bad that I tossed it out and picked up a burger from Sonic. My guy ordered a burger with brisket and said the brisket was the only good part of the burger. Maybe we just had an off night for meat. I'm sure we'll try this place out again in the future.

First time I have eaten here and hopefully will not be my last. I went after the lunch rush, so things were fairly quiet. Server was very polite and extremely helpful with decision making. I had the couch potato burger with blue cheese crumbles and applewood smoked bacon with the in-house fresh made fries. I paid 13 and some change for the meal and sweet tea. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal at a good price.

I was looking through yelp on my phone for somewhere new to eat. Saw this place come up in the list and I read the reviews. I am game to try so we head in. You set where you want the waitress will come to the table. I was torn with all the good looking items on the menu. I settled for a Honky Tonk Burger. It was the best burger I have had in a long time. For appetizer we got the cheese bombs. These are the bomb. I was expecting the usual cheese sticks. Nope these are squares of cheese fried in a good batter. The girlfriend got the Nachos with the pulled pork. They were good as well. The place does have an echo and I don't think I would be able to stay if the band was playing. They advertise the coldest beer on the coast but they do not have the local favorites: Lazy Magnolia products so I had to drop on star from my rating. A local bar should have local beers.

I am just reviewing the restaurant part, not the bar. We pass this place so many times. I thought it was just a small bar off of the main road so I never went in. I so glad I did. I took the family and although they do have a bar it was family friendly and clean. The server that we had was friendly and attentive. He was like a ninja, filling our drinks before we even knew we were almost out and we didn't even realize he had already given us refills! The food was amazing with a wide range of options. Tacos, BBQ, or a good old fashioned burger. We had the shrimp basket, the burger topped with brisket and the brisket basket. The portions are very generous and we had to carry away. I will absolutely go back. I may even stop in for drinks after work!

Went to Woody's with my family while they were in town visiting the cheese bombs were amazing. We all got burgers. I built my own burger and had macaroni and cheese for a side. The burger was delicious and the macaroni and cheese was really creamy and flavorful! The service we received was pretty good. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive, but overall. We weren't disappointed. I went back 2 days later to bring my husband since the food was so good. I was seriously disappointed in our dinner. We split the fried pickles which were on the saltier side, but good. I got the brisket and macaroni and cheese. My husband got a burger and tumbleweed onions. The brisket was gross and I ended up not eating most of it. The macaroni which I loved two days earlier was dry and clumpy and tasted completely different this time. My husbands burger was dry and flavorless. The service was much better this time though. Overall I'm disappointed because this restaurant was so inconsistent. Had the food been as good the second time I would have given them 5 stars instead of 3.

After hearing about this place 5,309 times from other people, we had to go. So we went. Atmosphere was fun and loud. Our server, I think his name was Andrew, was awesome. We did the cheese bombs. They were simple but good, if you are into cheese. And who isn't? As an American, you kinda have to be. Or get deported. Anyways...we got the Woody's burger and the Big Ben (I think...it was the one with pulled pork on top of the burger...que fat kid squeal here) and they were just okay, honestly. The pulled pork was kinda bland. Not really sure if we will go back, as OS is kind of a drive for us, but we had to try it, and we did.

This is a re-rate from last year's experience. It's still an excellent restaurant to go to in the Springs. I loved the decor in the restaurant, and the atmosphere is quite fantastic. I love how my Roadside Burger was tempting and something to have again the next trip. My mom's Barbecue Three-Way tasted great. The server was very elaborate and friendly. I would recommend this barbecue venue in the Springs, whether you are dining alone, with your friends or family members, or for special occasions! Great job, Woodys!

I have been here twice. Both times I got two different burgers. The first was the California Burger and the second was the Get Me to the Greek Burger. Both were very good and I'd go back to try more. They have beer on tap that is chilled to 32 degrees. This is a turnoff for me as I like to taste my beer and most styles of beer are not meant to be that cold. Both times, the service was friendly and adequate. Solid 4 star place.

I wanted a salad and my kids wanted burgers. Yelp led us to Woody's. I had the Greek salad with grilled shrimp. Shrimp was overcooked and added nothing to the great salad. Greens were fresh and crunchy. I recommend asking for the dressing on the side...the chef was overly generous in the pouring. We had four different burgers ordered. None came as requested cookwise (ie. Medium or medium rare), but none of the kids complained, as all burgers were still juicy. We also ordered wings (hot w/blue cheese) and they were fine. One was undercooked (yuck). The tumbleweed onions were good. Slightly greasy. I dipped them in the leftover wing sauce and that was pretty tasty! The portions are generous, the food is good. The place is noisy (lots of hard surfaces lead to reverb noise). I can't imagine how it would be if someone was playing music on the stage at this place - but I imagine that happens, since it is there! Servers are friendly, but service is not a highlight (they spent more time chatting by the window into the kitchen than keeping our water glasses full). Overall, a nice, friendly place for a meal.

Tried this place for the second time...same results. Service good, atmosphere a bit noisy (but it is a bar!) but food is just.....ok. Ahi Tuna sandwich really had no flavor and tuna, ordered medium, was undercooked. Fish and chips had small fish chunks with a bland batter coating. Fried Green tomatoes had too much of a thick batter crust. Beer was cold though and tea was sweet. Won't chance it again.

Burgers are good. I especially like the tumbleweed onions on the and the chargrilled taste. I haven't tried their bbq items yet. Decent happy hour specials. My only issue is that no matter what it just seems like I can hear everyone's conversation at one time no matter where I sit at the bar. I can't tell if they are just loud talkers or trying to talk over the music or if it is the acoustics. The bartender is always friendly and quick to take my drink and food order. I've never been on a crowded night, so I can give no opinion there. I don't care for live bands so I tend to avoid nights when anyone takes the stage. When I drive by on game days, the place seems packed out. Good for them. I'll be back, on occassion.
